Trustee Chair of the Board – Leisure & Wellbeing

Trustee role (reasonable expenses paid)

This is a voluntary role; the organisation will reimburse reasonable expenses whilst carrying out the role of Chairperson.

We are thrilled to be working with a fitness and well-being organisation who are looking for a Chairperson to lead the board, and continue to build relationships with local councils, and key stakeholders, whilst working with the CEO and executive team at a pivotal point in their evolution.

The Individual:

We are looking for an experienced chair to lead and motivate through periods of growth and change. You will be a strategic thinker and bring a collaborative approach to the board. The ideal hire will come from an Executive or Non-Executive position within the leisure industry and have excellent understanding of sustainability, governance and complex environments.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a C-Suite or NED role within leisure
• Experienced and knowledgeable sustainability
• Experienced in leading and motivating the wider community through periods of change
• Possess high levels of integrity and an aptitude for corporate governance
• Able to commit to quarterly board meetings
• Conduct Annual performance reviews of Directors
• Experience working with local councils, communities and
• Minimum term 3 years
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the organisation.
