The Company
Part of Thurnall Taverns, The Station – Irlam is located within a unique setting overlooking the platform.
Our café bar is a magnificent combination of exuberant Victorian style, architectural flair and modern décor, providing a relaxing and absorbing atmosphere across two floors. The charming train carriage features three booths, offering visitors a taste of the present and flavour of the past.
As well as our vibrant café bar and being a fully functioning social and business venue, we serve up delicious homemade food and baking, thirst quenching drinks and lively entertainment in a warm and inviting family friendly atmosphere.
A fabulous canopy on the terrace outside provides visitors with shelter on rainy days and welcome shade from the hot sun. On colder days, the log burners provide a warm atmosphere in which to relax in the comfortable seating.
The Role – Hospitality Manager
You will help our business to flourish by taking a hands-on approach in leading, managing and developing the front of house and kitchen team (with support of our Kitchen Manager). Your key objective will be to leave all guests with a burning desire to return, with the aim of building sales and profitability.
Your further responsibilities will involve ensuring the flawless, safe, and legal running of the business, in line with agreed objectives, including financial targets and the company’s processes and procedures.
